Winter is definitely upon us and for nature lovers like myself it’s time to wrap up warm and embrace the frosty air for meditation with trees for radiance and strength. Despite the cold, I’m really enjoying the beauty of where I live in the Scottish Borders and hanging out with my 2 lovely dogs while I can.
This month’s meditation was inspired by the woods where I walk every day and the beautiful trees that keep me company and provide me with radiance and strength. I love to learn from their stillness and peace. Often when we take a walk we can be so wrapped up in our minds that we are not present to the life which is happening around us. Make a conscious effort, next time you head out for a walk in nature, to get out of your mind and really open your heart and all of your senses to your surroundings.
Mediation with Trees
Winter is the perfect time for connecting with trees. While most of the trees have lost their leaves and are sending their energy deep down into the Earth for nourishment, they continue to radiate strength and endurance. We can learn a lot from them! You can enjoy this meditation with trees for radiance and strength either from the comfort of your own home using your imagination. Or listen as you walk outside in the woods and find a tree that is trying to grab your attention and wants to share it’s light and strength with you.
